I've been working on myself forever, it seems. The last 20 years working in healthcare and growing as a human have taught me a lot. Some lessons were harder than others. One of the things I've had to overcome multiple times is fear. Fear of failure, fear of the unknown. Fear of being criticized. We all have our own fears.
In the last month I've been putting the final touches on a book on self care for nurses, so important during the coronavirus pandemic. It is not perfect. I am fearful that it won't be helpful, or it won't be read at all. But I am also hopeful that it will be helpful and that people will resonate with what I and so many others do each day to keep going forward. Working from a place of love and gratitude, support and mindfulness, I published this website today with the hope that we can all learn from each other and help not only "keep it together" but thrive and find joy.
